Ford government says it will be one of the largest campaigns in the province's history
Provincial officials say the flu shot will be available starting in November.
Health Minister Christine Elliot noting "It is safe to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and the flu shot at the same time, so if you’re receiving your flu shot and still have yet to receive a first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, now is the time."
Residents of long term care homes and hospital patients began receiving the flu shot last month.
Flu shots are now available for seniors and others most at risk for complications from the flu.
The province adding pharmacies will receive more allocated doses this season to help meet the expected demand.
