Single individuals bringing home $31,944 will now be eligible and as well as four person households making $59,359.
WOODSTOCK - More Woodstock residents also now eligible for the Fee Assitance in Recreation Program, also known as the FAIR program.
It allows those living with a low income easier access to rec and leisure programs and transit passes through reduced pricing.
City Council approved a 20 percent increase to the income cut-off limits for the program during last weeks meeting. You can find the complete breakdown of the different cut-off amounts below:
One person household - $31,944
Two person household - $39,768
Three person household - $48,890
Four person household - $59,359
Five person household - $67,324
Six person household - $75,931
Seven person household - $84,537
During his interview with Heart FM last week, Mayor Jerry Acchione said a lot of people did not take advantage of this funding last year and encouraged those who are eligible to apply for it through the city.
