A tragic crash on Fairway Road South has left a family heartbroken and a little girl without her father
KITCHENER - A family is still trying to come to grips after a fatal single vehicle collision on Fairway Road South in Kitchener.
27 year old Andrew Hackbart died when his vehicle went into the ditch and struck a concrete hydro pole on Sunday morning. He leaves behind a young daughter Neveah and his loving partner and Naveah's mother Sara Baker. Hackbart's friends have set up a go fund me account to help Neveah and her mother Sara who are understandably heartbroken after the tragedy.
Amber Parks who is best friends with Sara Baker tells Heart FM that Andrew really was a great guy.
"Andrew was an amazing father and was loved by many people, and was just very generous and was always there when you needed him. His beautiful little girl is a special piece of Andrew and that he will live on forever through her."
Hackbart's best friend Robert Jarnevic tells Heart FM that Andrew was an amazing father who loved his daughter more than anything in the world.
"His daughter, that was his world, they were inseparable, he used to carry around a little pink knapsack that had all of her belongings in it, food, clothes, diapers and he would wear that everywhere, he didn't care what anybody thought about him wearing a pink knapsack, he just loved his daughter so much and he really was an amazing father."
Jarnevic notes Hackbart worked hard, but didn't have a lot of money saved up and the family is dealing with enormous costs following this unexpected tragedy. You can help the family out by going to their go fund me account https://www.gofundme.com/AndrewHackbart
