Reagan Warnick-Franklin files paper for Ingersoll Town Council
She's looking to bring a "younger vibe" to Ingersoll Town Council.
Mother of 9-year-old twins, and Ingersoll RE/MAX Office Administrator Reagan Warnick-Franklin is making another attempt at municipal politics.
She ran for council in 2010, and was the first runner up. She missed getting elected by less than 200 votes, placing 6th in the race for the 5 seats on council. "I really feel strongly about this town and I think I did pretty well running for my first time. I was close to getting in...I thought that my chance would be good again and I thought that I should do it."
This time around, she hopes to make the cut. "I just would really like to be a voice on our town council. I think that I would definitely bring a fresh outlook to this community."
Warnick-Franklin is active in the town sitting on parent council for her children's school, as well as the executive for Oxford People Against the Landfill, where she is the Treasurer. She says the Walker landfill proposal is "definitely" the biggest issue facing the town in the next 4-years. But she also says more commercial and residential growth should be an objective for the next 4-years.
