The Woodstock Navy Vets and the Thamesford Trojans both celebrated wins over the weekend.
PJHL - The scores were fairly consistent for Oxford County's Junior C hockey teams over the weekend.
The Norwich Merchants suffered a 3-1 loss to the Wellesley Applejacks on Friday, while the Tavistock Braves fell to the New Hamburg Firebirds 3-1.
The Woodstock Navy Vets were on the other side of the scoreboard, celebrating a 3-1 victory over the Paris Titans on Saturday. Scott Rodrigue made 37 saves for Woodstock, resulting in his fifth win of the season. Head Coach Darren Young also celebrated the 150th win of his career with the Vets.
The Firebirds sit on top of the Doherty Division standings with 39 points. They're followed by the Merchants with 36 points, the Navy Vets with 31 points, and the Applejacks with 30 points. The Dorchester Dolphins are in fifth place with 26 points, the Braves are tied for sixth place with the Titans with 17 points each, and the Shamrocks sit in last place with 11 points.
Over in the Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans beat the Petrolia Flyers 4-1 on Friday but they also fell to the Port Stanley Sailors 4-1 on Saturday.
The Trojans sit in fourth place in the Yeck Division standings with 28 points. They're behind the Sailors and the Mount Brydges Bulldogs with 30 points each, the Flyers with 32 points, and the Exeter Hawks with 33 points.
