The Trojans and the Braves have both advanced to the next round of the playoffs after celebrating victories last night.
PJHL - The Thamesford Trojans and the Tavistock Braves have advanced to the second round of the PJHL playoffs.
They celebrated a 5-3 victory over the Aylmer Spitfires last night, winning the best-of-seven first-round series 4-0 in the end.
The Braves also beat the Paris Titans 7-3 last night, also winning their series 4-0.
The Norwich Merchants have taken a 2-1 lead in their series against New Hamburg after they beat the Firebirds 5-4 in overtime. The series will return to Nor-Del Arena for Game 4 Friday night with an 8:00 p.m. puck drop. Game will be taking place at the Wilmost Recreation Complex at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The Woodstock Navy Vets will be back on action on Friday, and they're one win away from advancing to round two.
The Navy Vets will host the Dorchester Dolphins in Game 4 of their series at Southwood Arena Friday night. They will also host Game 5 Saturday evening if need be and both games will have a 7:45 p.m. puck drop. If Game 6 is required, it will be taking place at the FligthExec Centre in Dorchester on Sunday with an 8:30 p.m. start time.
