Daily Case numbers are up slightly again today, however they always tend to be highest on Thursdays and Fridays.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 192 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 548,986.
One additional COVID-19 related deaths was recorded today, meaning the total number of deaths now sits at 9,308. Another 147 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 538,271.
The province completed nearly 18,900 tests yesterday. We currently have 137 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 105 people in the ICU and 62 in the ICU on a ventilator. The majority of the cases are coming from hot spot regions with 43 new cases in Toronto, 25 in Peel Region, 18 in York Region, 18 in the Region of Waterloo, 11 in Durham Region and 11 in Hamilton.
