Dark secrets come to light as five friends reminisce their high school years over some drinks.
INGERSOLL - Bingo! is about to debut at the Ingersoll Theatre of Performing Arts (ITOPA).
It's about five friends from high school getting together for their 30-year high school reunion in 2011. They remember the good old days together, but the evening starts to take a bit of a turn as the drinks start to flow and dark secrets come to light.
Andre Fournier plays Jeff "Heffer" MacInnis, who happens to be friends with Doug "Dookie" Duke.
"He's my hero because he's so brave and strong! He was the jock in high school so everybody adored him because he was the sports star. So that's where my relationship is, but I have a deep dark secret."
Dookie will be played by Mark Tindall. Fournier says Kathy "Bitsy" Cameron is the only person who knows Heffer's secret. Bitsy will be played by Karen Trick. The other characters include Laura "Boots" Boutlier, played by Rebecca McNall, and Paul "Nurk" Kenny, played by Richard Klein.
Fournier says the production is a trip down memory lane for these characters.
"It's a comedy and it's a retrospect on life. When you look back on 30 years, how much has your life changed?"
Bingo! will make it's debut this weekend, with performances scheduled for next weekend as well. Tickets can be purchased online here, but the show is recommended for audience members over 16-years-old.
Andre Fournier stopped by the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Tuesday March 3rd. You can listen to the full interview below:
