A group of local home builders have their sites set on CAMI commuters. Workers at the plant were given tote bags during shift change Thursday to bring awareness about life in the town. Each bag contained information on a special awareness event happening in Ingersoll April 13 - 14. According to the Director of Economic Development , Kale Brown, the five main home builders in the area have contributed funds to the new campaign and says the home builder group needs to be commended. "The Town of Ingersoll is very pleased that we have all five builders working together. They're working as a partnership to build improve prospects and the development as a whole rather than working against each other in competition." "The group has targeted employees at CAMI that commute in and out of town, that this is a opportunity for them to build a brand new home here in Ingersoll and reduce their commuting time and they felt that this was a very good target audience for what they are trying to due in terms of building new homes in town.
