Donations Needed for Hospital Renovation

The Woodstock Hospital Foundation is halfway to reaching its $3 million fundraising goal for the Chemotherapy and IV Infusion Clinic renovation.

WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Hospital Foundation is looking for donations, so it can fund the new renovations for the Chemotherapy and IV Infusion Clinic.

The clinic currently has eight treatment chairs and three stretchers but the new expansion will increase its capacity to 15 treatment chairs and three stretchers. It's also going to have treatment pods with four chairs in each pod which will help with patient privacy, but also have space so loved ones and care partners can be with them.

The work started on June 3rd of this year, and it's expected to finish in the spring of 2025.

The Woodstock Hospital Foundation is looking to raise $3 million for the project. Senior Development Officer Jocelyn Jenner says they have made a lot of progress, but they still have a long way to go.

"We are happy to share that we are halfway to our $3 million goal. We are so grateful for the support of individuals and businesses in our community, but there is still more work to do. Any gift, big or small, can help ensure that if our loved ones need treatment, they can find the care and comfort they deserve right here at home."
