A Research and development resource group for four non-profit community groups is holding an open house tonight in Ingersoll
Four volunteer community groups who recently came together to form "Compass Partnership," are hosting an open house this evening in Ingersoll.
The collaborative project between groups started Jan. 20th and lasts for 48 weeks. Compass Partnership Communications Officer John Milner says they provide support resources for four community groups in Oxford County.
"The Oxford People Against the Landfill, the Transition to Less Waste, Ingersoll and District Nature Club and the Centreville Pond and Conservation Committee."
The local initiative is also helping to put people back to work, learn new skills and network. Tonight's event will utilize the skills and showcase the talents of some of the group's participants
For those interested attending, the Compass Partnership Open House takes place tonight from 5:30-8:30 pm at 132 Thames Street South in Ingersoll.
