A 50-year-old man peacefully surrendered to police in the Caen Ave area on Saturday.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police officers had to close off the Caen Ave area due to weapons investigation.
This happened at around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday and it ended once a 50-year-old man peacefully surrendered. Officers searched his home afterward and found a loaded handgun.
He has since been charged with unauthorized possession and careless storage of a firearm, along with three counts of uttering threats. He's being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
