A man living in a make shift campsite was attacked this morning by two dogs that are still on the loose in Stratford.
STRATFORD - Stratford Police are looking for a couple of large dogs, possibly even coyotes after an animal attack on Erie Street.
Police say a 43 year old man was attacked around 2:00 am this morning. He was living in a make shift campsite in a wooded area behind Griffith Road. Police say two dogs, believed to be German Shepard's, had been reported missing from 245 Griffith Road and those dogs might have been involved, however that is not confirmed.
A search for the animals was conducted; however, they were unable to be located. The Stratford Police and the Stratford Perth Humane Society continue to investigate this matter and search for the animals involved. The
police are asking the public to be wary of approaching any unknown dogs and to contact the police at 519-271-4141 or the Humane Society at 519-273-6600 if any loose animals of this description are observed.
