WOODSTOCK - It was a busy day for police officers in downtown Woodstock.
They conducted a proactive patrol on Friday and arrested three people with possession of a controlled substance under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Seven provincial offence notices were issued for engaging in a prohibited activity under the Trespass to Property Act and officers also looked into some abandoned properties and other safety concerns in the area as well.
In a post on Facebook, the Woodstock Police Service says its trying to reduce open-air drug use and support community wellbeing, all while maintaining a welcoming downtown core for everyone.
