Tillsonburg Council has a familiar face running in the election. Stephen Molnar has put his name back on the ballot.
TILLSONBURG - A long-standing Councillor and Mayor for the Town of Tillsonburg has decided to run in the upcoming election.
Stephen Molnar served on Tillsonburg council for 2 terms before becoming Mayor for 4 terms, and he would like to return to council for another four years.
He feels his experience could be highly beneficial to Tillsonburg Council.
"Facilitating the construction of a foundation where partnerships, communication, and respect ultimately provide for the development of a strong and inclusive community. My strengths have been communication and connection for our community here."
Molnar provides a preview of what he would like to see happen if elected.
"Ultimately, providing the platform where Tillsonburg can continue to grow, but based primarily also on the responsible and financially sustainable development of the infrastructure that will be required."
He may not have been a part of municipal politics during the last term, but Molnar says he has been able to continue a circle of trust from business, regional, and provincial levels.
The municipal election is scheduled for October 26th.
