Two people are in custody after a traffic stop in Woodstock. Police also seized weapons during the investigation.
WOODSTOCK - A traffic stop in Woodstock sees two people arrested.
Woodstock Police pulled a vehicle over last night at 11:30 in the area of Adelaide and Wellington Streets.
Both occupants had weapons on them at the time of the stop and taken into custody.
Multiple weapons were seized including a firearm, two tasers, brass knuckles and nun chucks.
A 27-year-old of London, has been remanded into custody and facing charges of: Four counts of possession of a prohibited device, Carrying a concealed weapon; Unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm; Careless use of a firearm; Occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm; Weapons dangerous; and Possession of a schedule I substance – cocaine.
While a 27-year-old of Cambridge, has been remanded into custody and facing charges of: Four counts of possession of a prohibited device; Unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm; Occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm; and Possession of a schedule I substance - cocaine.
