The donations collected for the Realtors Care Warmth for Winter Drive surpassed last year's total.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Woodstock Ingersoll Tillsonburg and Area Association of Realtors (WITAAR) is giving back to those in need this holiday season.
It had a very successful Realtors Care Warmth for Winter Drive last month by collecting 562 hats and 562 mitts/gloves last month.
President Alison Porter says local realtors also collected 725 scarves, 3,455 personal hygiene items, $4,385 cash, and $320 worth of gift cards.
“I am very proud of our members and the support they give to this amazing event, which continues to be a great success every year. We want our communities to know that your local REALTORS® are not just real estate representatives, but friends and neighbours who care about our communities.”
The donations will be going to the Ingersoll and District Inter-Church, the Tillsonburg Salvation Army, and Operation Sharing's The Inn program in Woodstock.
