Tillsonburg residents can now submit in application to include an item in a time capsule which will be sealed on Canada Day. It will be on display at the Annandale National Historic Site until 2047.
TILLSONBURG - Tillsonburg is celebrating its 150th anniversary by having the public help fill a time capsule.
Courtney Booth from the Tillsonburg Ad Hoc Committee says people are invited to submit their applications for the project.
"The items will be displayed at Annandale National Historic Site and Museum until 2047. Each item submitted much include a description of the item, how it captures Tillsonburg, and how it will be significant 25 years from now."
All applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 20th. Fifteen winners will be announced on June 24th, with the mystery items being sealed in the capsule on July 1st during the Tillsonburg 150th celebrations.
You can submit your application online here, but you should read the list of restricted items first.
