---
PLATTSVILLE - Southwestern Public Health has issued a boil water advisory in Plattsville.
The northeast corner is affected, which includes East of Platt Street North to Hofstetter Road and Albert Street East to Hilborn Street. The advisory comes after a watermain break, and residents are being asked to boil their tap water or use bottled water for drinking, making infant formula or juice, cooking, making ice, washing fruits and vegetables, or brushing their teeth until they receive further notice. To use boiled water, Public Health recommends bringing water to a rolling boil for one minute then allowing it to cool. It may then be stored in clean containers.
The advisory will be in place until further notice. Updates will be released when more information becomes available.
