Police say people were spotted running away from the scene, after the sounds of breaking glass and an explosion in Ingersoll early Friday morning, that left a vehicle burnt to a crisp.
INGERSOLL - Oxford OPP are investigating after a vehicle was set on fire on Samnah Crescent in the Town of Ingersoll.
Police say that people were spotted running from the scene of the crime after the sound of breaking glass and an explosion. When crews arrived on scene around 2:10 on Friday morning, the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, however the vehicle was burnt to a crisp.
Video surveillance is being reviewed, and police are continuing to investigate. Anyone with information about this investigation is asked to contact the Oxford County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
