Police say a transport truck left the road and went about 40 yards into the ditch.
THAMES CENTRE - No one was hurt after a single vehicle crash involving a transport truck in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 in Thames Centre.
Sergeant Ed Sanchuk posted a video about on the OPP West Region X page at around 3:00 p.m. yesterday.
"Just shortly after 1:00 p.m. this afternoon, Middlesex County OPP officers responded a report of a transport truck that left the roadway and went approximately 40 yards into the ditch that you see over here."
He said one lane was closed so heavy tow truck operators could help retreive the transport truck. The other two lanes remained open, but the crash did cause some backups on the highway.
