The 23rd annual Dairy Capital Run is coming back to Southside Park in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Registration has opened for the 23rd annual Dairy Capital Run in Woodstock.
Senior Development Officer Jocelyn Jenner says this is definitely a family friendly event.
"We have got our 10 K, which is a run, so if you are a dedicated runner that is the event for you, we have our 5 K, 2 K which you can walk or run and then we have the Lil Hoovers which is just for the kids, so we have something for everybody."
Jenner adds that all of the proceeds from the event will go to support patient care at the Woodstock Hospital.
"So this all of the proceeds from the Dairy Capital Run are going to the outpatient clinic and they going to be used to help pay for a new surgical table, which is something that is really needed and will get a lot of use."
The run is happening on May 26th at Southside Park and early bird registration rates are available until May 1st. You can find more information about the run and how to sign up online here.
