The SIU is investigating after a man was found with a gunshot wound in Innerkip earlier today.
INNERKIP - The Special Investigations Unit has been called in to investigate the death of a 54 year old man in Innerkip.
OPP were called out to the area of Oxford Road 22 and Oxford Road 29 at around 1am on Monday April 23rd. Officers approached a vehicle that was parked on the side of the road, and found the man with a gunshot wound inside.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and an autopsy is scheduled in London tomorrow. Three investigators and two forensic investigators have been assigned to the case at this time.
