Registration Is Open For Curl For Kids Sake

One of the area's most exciting team fundraising events is back - it's another year for the Curl for Kids Sake.

OXFORD COUNTY - It's time to hurry - hurry to sign up a team for the Curl for Kids Sake. The event is a fundraiser for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Ingersoll and Tillsonburg.  Teams will get two, six end games, a hot lunch, and a day full of entertainment. 

If your not sure how to Curl? Event Organizer Nicole Killaire says it's not a professional event by any means.

"It's a fun day, you day, you don't need to know how, we provide everything you need to there, so you just have to show up, ready to have a good time, you really don't have to know how to curl."

The event is one of the area's most exciting team fundraising events and this year the teams of 4 will be asked to dress in costume for the Rock n' Roll theme.  The event raised over $20,000 last year supporting many programs and services the organization offers in Oxford County, this year the goal is to surpass that number. 

If curling really isn't your forte, Killaire says there are ways you can still get involved. 

"If you want to get involved, but maybe you don't want to curl, there are opportunities to sponsor a team, meaning we would get some of our 'Bigs and Littles' and kids together and give them a fun day of curling."

Curl for Kids Sake is happening February 3rd in Ingersoll and February 10th in Tillsonburg .
