The Province of Ontario is inviting local residents to have your say when it comes to the Regional Review.
OXFORD COUNTY - Everyone in Oxford County is eligible to make a special presentation with the special advisors conducting our Regional Review.
Local people and organizations are invited to register to make a presentation to Michael Fenn and Ken Seiling. Part of the Regional Review is to get local input on how to improve governance, decision-making and service delivery for regional governments and regional municipalities.
Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing Steve Clark says our government wants to make sure that the experience of real people is front of mind in every decision we make.
"Our government is working for all Ontarians. We are committed to providing taxpayers with efficient and effective service delivery that shows respect for their hard-earned dollars. It's important to me that the people who live, work and spend time in the municipalities covered by the review can share their thoughts on how we can improve regional governance."
Oxford County and it's lower tiers is part of the Regional Review of 82 municipalities in Ontario. You can register to make a presentation starting on Wednesday April 3rd. For more information on how to register and the process that is required is available online here.
You can also submit your comments in an online survey which can be found here.
