Environment Canada says light occasional rain is expected to continue today and into tonight.
OXFORD COUNTY - Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Southwestern Ontario, including Oxford County.
They say the occasional light rain will continue today and into tonight, becoming heavy at times and seeing possibly 40 to 60 millimetres.
Most of the rainfall is expected to come today and into tonight. For areas further away from Lake Huron, it may change to freezing rain tonight and last several hours.
Parts of Oxford County, including Woodstock, are among the areas effected. Higher rainfall amounts are possible in isolated thunderstorms this morning.
There is considerable uncertainty regarding freezing rain. Wind warnings, along with freezing rain warnings, may be issued as necessary.
Strong winds are expected tomorrow, especially along the shoreline of Lake Ontario with wind gusts of up to 80 km an hour.
Environment Canada says travel will be impacted throughout Southwestern Ontario today and into tomorrow.
