It is the second weekend of action in the PJHL for the teams in Oxford County.
PJHL - The home stretch is coming for the Oxford County teams in the Provincial Junior Hockey League.
This weekend, the Woodstock Navy Vets have a pair of games, beginning tonight at Southwood Arena. They welcome the Wellesley Applejacks to town, and puck drop is set for 7:45 p.m. Then, on Sunday, the Vets make the trip to New Hamburg's Wilmot Recreation Centre to take on the Firebirds at 3:30 p.m.
Next, the Norwich Merchants will be looking to build off a 5-4 victory on Wednesday against the Dorchester Dolphins as they travel to New Hamburg tonight to battle the aforementioned Firebirds at the Wilmot Recreation Centre. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
Moving on to the Tavistock Braves, they will lace up the skates once this weekend, and that is tonight on home ice at the Tavistock and District Recreation Centre. The Braves welcome the Hespeler Shamrocks with game time at 7:30 p.m.
Lastly, taking a look at the Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans will be at the Thamesford Area Recreation Centre tonight as the Petrolia Flyers make their way to town. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. Then, tomorrow night, the Trojans hit the road to Port Stanley to battle the Sailors at the Port Stanley Arena and Community Centre, game time will be 7:30 p.m.
