Police could smell alcohol in his breath Thursday evening.
PARIS - What started as a report of road rage, ended with impaired driving charges in Paris.
Brant OPP officers were called out to Whitlaw Way at around 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
They spotted their vehicle of interest backing into a driveway and spoke to the driver afterward. They could smell alcohol in his breath, so they administered a breathalyzer test, which the man failed.
Officers charged the 35-year-old with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for a week.
