The 176th Drumbo Fair will be taking place this Saturday and Sunday.
DRUMBO - It's going to be an exciting weekend in the village of Drumbo.
The 176th Drumbo Fair will be taking place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. this Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. this Sunday.
Susan Elmes, the President of the Agricultural Society, says it's a lovely little rural fair.
"We have a beef show, a heavy horse show, miniature horse show, and a youth and open horse show on the Sunday. So it's still a very agricultural fair and we take great pride in that."
They also have lots of fun activities for the kids including pony rides, bouncy castles and the popular candy toss at the end of each day.
She adds they also have some new additions for the older kids this year.
"We've got a rock climbing wall and we've got family-friendly axe throwing. Our goal is to keep the kids that in Grade 7 and Grade 8 interested, so by the time they are in Grade 9 they are coming back as student volunteers getting their volunteer hours."
The entertainment lineup includes a John Denver Tribute Show, a Simon Says show, and the Flying Furballs Dog Agility Show.

Those who attend will also be able to grab a bite to eat at one of the many food trucks on site. The Agricultural Society will also be serving pie in the agricultural building.
Admission is $13 per person for each day with kids under two-years-old getting in for free. The admission price includes all activities, but only cash will be accepted at the gate.
