The news comes weeks after his last performance with Black Sabbath in Birmingham.
UNITED KINGDOM - The music world is mourning the loss of Ozzy Osbourne, also known as the Prince of Darkness.
A statement on his social media pages says he died yesterday morning at the the age of 76. He was with his family and surrounded by love, and the post also requested privacy for his family during this time. It was signed by his wife Sharon Osbourne, son Jack Osbourne, daughter Kelly Osbourne, daughter Aimee Osbourne, and son Louis Osbourne.
The legendary rockstar was known for being the frontman for Black Sabbath. They released several hit songs including War Pigs, Iron Man, and Paranoid. He also had a successful solo career with hits like Crazy Train and Mamma, I'm Coming Home.
Osbourne also starred in several reality television shows over the years including The Osbournes and Ozzy and Jack's World Detour.
Osbourne announced in January 2020 that he had been diagnosed with a form of Parkinson's. He performed his last concert with Black Sabbath titled Back to the Beginning in Birmingham on July 5th, 2025.
His star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is now covered in flowers and photos, as fans stop to pay tribute to the iconic rockstar.
