OXFORD - Environment Canada has issued a weather warning for Oxford County.
Freezing rain with ice accretion of a few millimeters is expected to begin early Thursday morning and continue through early Thursday afternoon.
Environment Canada say that precipitation is expected to begin as freezing rain or ice pellets before it transitions to rain or snow in the afternoon.
It is advised that drivers and pedestrians take extra care in affected areas, as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. It's also possible that utility outages occur.
