A swimmer who went missing after swimming at Port Burwell has been found following OPP search and recovery efforts.
BAYHAM- OPP have recovered the body of a 15 year old teen who went missing while swimming with friends at Port Burwell. Search and recovery teams have been searching Lake Erie for the past three days.
The 15 year old Malahide Township boy was swimming with a group of youth at Main beach in Port Burwell near the Pier. The youth began to struggle in the water and the boy went under. It was only after the group had been pulled safely to shore that the 15 year old was noticed missing.
Elgin County OPP wish to thank all those that assisted with the search.
Over four thousand dollars has been raised on gofund me to pay for the 15 year olds funeral. http://www.gofundme.com/c8wf6s
