Woodstock Police officers issued several tickets and warnings related to Operation Impact over the Thanksgiving long weekend.
WOODSTOCK - It was a busy Thanksgiving long weekend for the Woodstock Police Service.
Woodstock Police officers stopped 480 vehicles during several R.I.D.E. programs, but they're happy to report that none of those drivers showed signs of impairment.
However, officers did issue several tickets and warnings related to Operation Impact. The list of offenses includes speeding, careless driving, and failing to yield.
Several police forces across the province participated in Operation Impact over the long weekend, in order to target dangerous driving behaviours.
