WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police crushed their fundraising goal for the Cops for Cancer Campaign.
They initially set out to raise $2,000, and more than doubled that total, raising around $5,000 for cancer research. Today, 12 members of the WPS are getting their hair cut today.
Detective Constable Nikki VanLeeuwen says this is an annual campaign for the Woodstock Police Service.
"Unfortunately cancer affects almost everyone nowadays so it's near and dear to everyone's hearts for sure. That's why we continue with the campaign every single year."
