The Ox on the Run Bookmobile will bring library resources to communities without a library branch.
OXFORD COUNTY - Ox on the Run is an Oxford County Library program that brings library access and library resources to communities without a branch.
They are doing this by taking a decommissioned ambulance and bringing books and computers around Oxford all year long.
Outreach and Teen Librarian, Meagan Brennan talks about what the program has done in the past and what it plans to do this year.
"There is something for everyone, every age with Ox on the run. In the past, we used to focus a lot on families in the summertime and really do a lot of kid-focused programming, but you'll also find us this fall doing some adult programs popping up at community centers and senior residences."
The Bookmobile will be at the Ingersoll Library's Summer Curiosity Launch Party from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. today. It will also be stopping at Hickson Park and Thamesford South Lions Park on Tuesday July 4th.
