Wanted: good homes for six puppies, and one adult dog. Back in June, Hillside Kennels rescued a mother and her six, one-week-old puppies near the Thames River in Ingersoll. The mother was very defensive when approached, and it took Hillside 4-hours just to catch her. But Hillside Co-owner Tracey Gibson says she's come around, and they're all ready for adoption. "We'd love to see everybody get adopted, including Sadie, that's what we called the mum (pictured right). There are six puppies left. Ideally, the home should have lots of space for them to run, they are very energetic dogs." The dogs are a lab-mix. Gibson says there will be a screening process for potential adoption families. "If they just want to give us a call and come out and have a look at them. We'll talk to them and decide from there. We have a right to refuse if we don't think they're going into the right home." More details on the pups can be found here.
