OXFORD COUNTY - The hot temperatures will continue into tomorrow.
Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for the region.
Daytime temperatures are expected to reach the low thirties with the humidity making it feel close to 40 degrees this afternoon.
Environment Canada says to drink plenty of water even before you feel thirsty and stay in a cool place. And to also never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.
Extreme heat affects everyone, but the risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.
Environment Canada says temperatures will remain near thirty degrees tomorrow, with humidity rising in the upper thirties. However with the passage of a cold front, cooler temperatures and lower humidity is expected for the rest of the weekend.
