Toby Van Lieshout will plead guilty to hitting a boy on his bike, and leaving the scene
A 34-year-old Ingersoll man, charged in a hit and run that hospitalized a London boy will plead guilty.
Toby Van Lieshout was charged back in October after allegedly hitting a young boy on his bike on Wexford Ave. in London.
The man will plead guilty and receive a sentence on January 31st.
He faces charges of leaving the scene of an accident causing bodily harm, possession of a controlled substance, driving while suspended, careless driving and driving with a plate not authorized for a vehicle.
The owner of the vehicle, 39-year-old Rebecca Van Lieshout was charged with being an accessory after the fact, assaulting police, possession of a controlled substance, not having insurance and permitting an unlicensed person to drive her vehicle.
Her case remains before the courts.
The boy that was hit, Tyler Brooks-Szabo remains unconscious in hospital with head injuries and a cracked pelvis.
