There are 13 locations across Oxford County where you will be able to drop off your pumpkins, squash, and gourds.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Great Pumpkin Rescue is back for another year in Oxford County.
Those looking to get rid of pumpkins, squash, and gourds will be able to drop them off at one of 13 locations across the county, so they can be repurposed instead of being sent to the landfill. The list includes the Little Hobby Hill Farm in Salford, the Kiwanis Community Garden in Ingersoll, and the Woodstock Enviro Depot. You can read more about the other locations online here.
Please note that any pumpkins that have been carved or painted will not be accepted and the same goes for those that contain wax, metal or plastic.
The Great Pumpkin Rescue kicks off today and lasts until Monday November 6th.
