Some of the best bell ringers from Southwestern Ontario will be at the Ingersoll Theatre to help the fundraiser for a new roof.
INGERSOLL - The Ingersoll Theatre of Performing Arts will have some premier bell ringers showcasing their talents this Sunday.
This show, along with others like: Heidi, Poor Angus, etc. are all in part to help with the FUNdRAISE the ROOF Campaign to help renovate the roof of the century old theatre. The expert bell ringer ensembles will be performed by Bells Ablaze, the Bellissima Ringers, and the Thamesford Handbell Choir. For more on the campaign here's the Publicity Director, Jim Konopetski.
"So we expect the total to be $30,000 at least, or possibly $35,000. So that really gives us the chance to really fill up the theatre and fix the roof all at once."
Konopetski also said the response from the public has been amazing.
"So we've had a really good response from the public, the last couple of years the Handbell Spectacular with Susan (Bells Ablaze member) has sold out. And we are past halfway right now with the fundraiser."
The concert will begin at 2:00 p.m with the theatres doors opening at 1:00 p.m. If you wish to reserve tickets, its $26 each and are available at www.itopa.ca and by calling 519-485-3070.
