Meteorologist Geoff Coulson forecasts what kind of weather we will see moving into September
OXFORD COUNTY - It looks like the start of school will coincide with the end of summer.
Meteorologist with Environment Canada Geoff Coulson tells Heart FM they expect a cold front will move in on Tuesday after a really hot long weekend.
"Tuesday we have a cold front moving through, we are expecting a little bit in the way of shower or maybe even thunderstorm activity and instead of the day time highs of around 29-30 degrees we have seen lately, we expect the high will be 25, as that front moves through we have a few lingering showers on Wednesday."
Coulson says we should return to more seasonal highs by the end of the week with temperatures in the low 20's. As for the extended forecast Coulson says the rest of the month of September should see normal temperatures for this time of year. He notes we still have the potential for some active weather with thunderstorms in late September and early October. Coulson also says right now they have no indication that we will have snow before Halloween.
