1000 feet of moving lights will drive into town on December 1st at 6:35 p.m.
WOODSTOCK - Fans of the CP Holiday Train will want to mark December 1st on their calendar's .
That's when the train will make a return to Woodstock.
"The Holiday Train is 14 cars, about 1000 feet in length, covered in hundreds of thousands of spectacularly bright lights," said Canadian Pacific Spokesperson Salem Woodrow. "Coming through Woodstock on December 1 well will have Kira Isabella on the train and she is an up and coming, Juno nominated artist."
The purpose of the train is to raise money, food and awareness of food banks and hunger issues and everything that is donated locally that evening, stays locally.
Woodrow says the train is an employee initiative.
"CP Employees live and work in more than 1100 communities across North America and hunger is something that touches everyone and impacts all of our neighbours. The cold reality is that hunger continues to be a problem and food banks need our help and the Holiday Train really strives to raise money, raise food and raise awareness."
The train is scheduled to move through Woodstock December 1st at 6:35pm stopping for approximately one hour.
