Officials from the Frank Cowan Company got an enthusiastic welcome Wednesday. They presented Woodstock and District Developmental Services with a 10-thousand dollar cheque for their "Transitions Program". The money will be used for new computers and software and Community Coordinator Deb Roloson says it will pay off. "The more tools that you can give people to be successful in the community, particularly in the areas of literacy and education, will only help them in their work skills, in their leisure, in all aspects of their life." Cowan CEO Rick Purdy agrees that it's a worthwhile cause. "We saw a program where they're really working hard to give them an opportunity to advance and learn more than they may otherwise. We're delighted to be a part of it." Frank Cowan officials, including Deb Tait received a warm welcome from the WDDS students. "Oh, it was fantastic. The donation will make a big difference to them and they were thrilled with it."
