Constable Nikki VanLeeuwen says this is a great opportunity for anyone in the community with an interest in policing.
"This is for anyone from our community that wants to learn more about the police service, you have to be over the age of 19 and you can't have a criminal record because we will be doing a background check but those are the only stipulations."
She adds Participants will also have the opportunity to accompany an officer on a 4 hour ride-along to get a firsthand look at the front lines of crime fighting.
