With Christmas now over, the next task is getting rid of the real trees. Here is how you can do just that.
THAMESFORD - Now that Christmas is officially over, lots of people will be getting rid of their real Christmas trees.
Over in Thamesford, the local Lions Club will be holding a Christmas tree pickup this Saturday. All you have to do is remove all the decorations from it (lights, ribbons, ornaments, etc.) and leave it at the curb for pickup by 9 am.
Those living in the other areas of Oxford County can drop their tree off at their local brush, leaf and yard waste depot. You can find the complete list of locations online here.
