A 59 year old Woodstock woman is facing charges after Woodstock Police were called out to a home on Altadore Crescent early yesterday morning.
WOODSTOCK - A woman has been charged after Woodstock Police were called out to an incident on Altadore Crescent.
Officers attended the scene shortly before 3 a.m. yesterday.
A 66 year old Woodstock man had to be transported to hospital after he had been struck with a baseball bat. He has been treated for his injuries and was later released.
Police charged a 59 year old Woodstock woman with assault with a weapon and aggravated assault. She has been remanded into custody.
Officers say the man and the woman knew each other and there is no threat to public safety.
