It's your last chance to grab your bowling shoes and help support a great local cause.
INGERSOLL/TILLSONBURG - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ingersoll, Tillsonburg and Area are gearing up for another Bowl for Kids Sake.
They have two events coming up soon; one in Tillsonburg on April 28th and 29th and another in Ingersoll on May 4th, 5th and 6th. Right now they have a few spots left to sign up a team of 4-7 people and help support a great cause and this is the last chance to sign up. Resource Development Coordinator Heather Brekelmans tells Heart FM what the theme is this year.
""This year our theme is Canada's 150th anniversary celebrating a 150 years. So we are enjoying see a bit of the red and white come out everywhere which will get more popular as the year goes along. We are also expecting to see a few hockey teams, lumberjacks and Mounties and that kind of fun stuff to celebrate our nation and the spirit of fun, which is what we are here for."
Pledges are $50 per person and bowlers will get to enjoy an hour and half of bowling, prizes and food and drinks from Tim Horton's. You can find more information about how to sign up a team online here.
