It set a goal of raising $20,000 in the first 20 days of March to support 20 new one-on-one youth mentorship matches.
OXFORD - It's the last day the donate to the 20 in 20 for 20 campaign for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County.
The campaign had raised over $16,400 as of this morning, but Volunteer Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator Erica Hughes, says they're hoping to reach $20,000 by the end of the day.
"This would match 20 young people in a one-to-one relationship. So that would include all of the work we do behind the scenes and supporting them through the one-to-one match."
She adds it's a very attainable goal.
"The idea is that if one thousand people donated $20 each, we would reach our goal. That's a little bit more attainable than asking for larger amounts, so if you have $20 you can hit us up on the website and donate right there."
TD is also partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters to match the first $5,000 donated
A total of 143 youth are currently on the waitlist for a one-on-one mentor in Oxford County.

Erica Hughes stopped by the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Wednesday, March 18th. You can listen to the full interview below:
