The money continues to come in an effort to send 18,000 children to camp.
WOODSTOCK - If you have bought your daily coffee at Tim Horton's today 100% of your money has gone to help send children in the area to camp. The annual event that has been gaining popularity over past several years is promising to be the biggest yet.
Owner of the Tim Horton's located at 942 Dundas St. Eileen Seabrook would like to thank the community who has taken part in the festivities today at the various locations. As the money continues to flood in with the Norwich Avenue location currently sitting at $3,500 with the coffee sales expected increase that number significantly. Seabrook's location saw a barbecue, silent auction, and a carwash that raised over $3,000 just for the outside activities alone.
The Devonshire location had its own outside fun raising over $1,600. Sending 18,000 children to camp, and to raise over $12 million is the goal when the event wraps up by 11pm tonight.
