A familiar face in the City of Woodstock has joined the Woodstock Police Services Board.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Police Services Board has welcomed a new provincially appointed WPSB member.
Leslie Farrell is excited about the new position. Farrell is well known in Oxford County, volunteering her time for several great causes and organizations including Handbags for Hospice and most recently the Toys for Big Boys event for United Way Oxford. She also owns the Tim Horton's on Norwich Ave and she won the President's award from the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce in 2018. On top of being active in her community and running a business, Farrell is also a mother, a wife and someone who is passionate about her community.
Ms. Farrell is looking forward to utilizing her transferable skills and knowledge she has gained throughout her years of community involvement during her time with WPSB.
The Board and the Woodstock Police Service are thrilled to welcome such a strong advocate for the community to the WPSB and WPS family.
